Rila-Hmm, I doubt so..the only one with the name stay padang is Alhambra which I think was referring to its glorious days in Padang singapore when it got famous. No connection with padang whatsoever cos their gravy is peanutty sauce with fiery soyasauce sambal.

But in KL,there is http://masak-masak.blogspot.com/2006/12/nasi-padang-maju-garuda-kampung-baru.html

Thanks Zal for replying and ur recommendations....

Will post it in my facebook and see if anyone replies,insya-Allah. http://tinyurl.com/putrifacebook

Hi Rila, I also have been looking for Satay Padang in Singapore for a very very long time now. Apparently they seemed not to be available here in Singapore at all.

The nearest to Singapore that I know that is available is in KL. A Padang Restaurant somewhere near Masjid India district. I have not tried it myself yet and still wondering when Next will be in Tanjung Pinang and its available near to the Ferry Terminal after maghrib usually. Push cart or warung style.

I end up cooking it myself. Didnt turn out the same for the gravy. For now, I would just have to wait for my auntie's visit from Indon and they will bring for me the packets of'Bumbu' for the gravy. Hehe. Hope this helps, Rila.

BTW Putri, if its available in S'pore, I would really love to know.

Thanks! :)
